These Affiliate Terms and Conditions set the guidelines for participation in the AI Alt Text Generator Affiliate Program. By becoming an affiliate, you agree to comply with the rules and policies set forth in this document.
Introduction
The AI Alt Text Generator Affiliate Program enables you to earn commissions by promoting our plugin. You earn revenue by referring customers who purchase the plugin or subscribe to one of our ongoing plans. This program is ideal for website owners, bloggers, marketers, and SEO professionals who have audiences interested in improving accessibility and SEO on their websites.
Commission Structure
Affiliates can earn:
- 20% Commission on Each Sale: Earn 20% of the total sale price (excluding taxes) for each customer referred.
- Recurring Commissions for Up to 3 Months: Earn a recurring commission on subscription renewals for up to three months, provided the referred customer remains subscribed.
Commissions are tracked and calculated through our affiliate tracking system. This ensures that affiliates are accurately compensated for each valid purchase or subscription renewal generated through their referral links.
Eligibility for Affiliate Program
Our affiliate program is open to:
- Bloggers and content creators
- Web developers and designers
- SEO professionals and digital marketers
- Website owners who cater to audiences seeking tools for SEO and accessibility improvement
To join, affiliates must have an active online platform (blog, social media page, website, etc.) and must demonstrate the ability to promote the plugin to relevant audiences.
Affiliate Responsibilities
Affiliates must agree to the following guidelines:
- Proper Use of Promotional Materials: Affiliates should only use the provided banners, graphics, email templates, or other approved marketing assets. Affiliates may not create their own materials without approval.
- Ethical Promotion: Affiliates should refrain from using false advertising, misleading claims, or spamming tactics to promote the plugin. Honest representation of the product is required.
- Link Usage: Each affiliate will receive a unique referral link. Affiliates must ensure the correct link is used when promoting the plugin to track sales and commissions properly.
Promotional Channels
Affiliates may promote their unique referral link on:
- Their personal or professional website
- Blog posts and articles
- Social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Email newsletters
- YouTube or other video platforms Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that their promotions comply with the platform’s policies and laws regarding affiliate marketing.
Prohibited Activities
Affiliates are prohibited from the following:
- Promoting using misleading, deceptive, or unethical marketing practices
- Engaging in any form of spam, unauthorized email marketing, or other unsolicited promotions
- Using false or exaggerated claims about the plugin’s features or performance
- Bidding on branded keywords (such as “AI Alt Text Generator” or “BoomDevs”) for paid advertising campaigns, unless otherwise approved in writing by BoomDevs
- Any other activities that violate the policies or integrity of the affiliate program
Affiliates found engaging in any of these prohibited activities may be subject to termination from the program without prior notice and forfeiture of any pending commissions.
Cookie Duration
Once a user clicks an affiliate’s referral link, a cookie will be stored in the user’s browser for 30 days. This ensures that if the user purchases within that timeframe, the affiliate will be credited for the sale. If the customer makes a purchase after the cookie expires, the affiliate will not earn a commission.
Payouts
- Payment Threshold: Affiliates must meet a minimum payout threshold of $100 to receive payments. If the balance is below $100, the payout will roll over to the next month.
- Payout Schedule: Payments are made on a monthly basis, approximately 30 days after the completion of the sales cycle. This delay allows for any potential refunds or chargebacks.
- Payment Methods: Commissions are paid via Bank Transfer or other approved methods. Affiliates are responsible for ensuring their payout information is accurate.
Refunds and Chargebacks
If a referred customer requests a refund or initiates a chargeback, the commission for that sale will be deducted from the affiliate’s balance. Affiliates will not receive commissions for fraudulent or refunded purchases.
Affiliate Dashboard
Upon joining, affiliates will gain access to a dedicated affiliate dashboard. This dashboard allows affiliates to:
- Track referral link performance, including clicks, conversions, and sales.
- Monitor pending, approved, and paid commissions.
- Access promotional materials (banners, email templates, graphics, etc.)
- View payment history and status.
Affiliates should regularly check their dashboard to ensure they are staying up-to-date with their earnings and account status.
Termination of Affiliation
BoomDevs reserves the right to terminate any affiliate’s participation in the program if they violate any of the terms and conditions outlined in this document. Grounds for termination include:
- Misrepresentation of the AI Alt Text Generator plugin
- Violation of any advertising policies or laws
- Use of unethical or prohibited marketing strategies
- Failure to comply with any of the terms mentioned above
Affiliates whose accounts are terminated will forfeit any unpaid commissions at the time of termination.
Amendments to the Terms
BoomDevs reserves the right to amend or modify these Affiliate Terms and Conditions at any time. Affiliates will be notified of significant changes through email or a notification within the affiliate dashboard. Continued participation in the affiliate program constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
Indemnification and Liability
Affiliates agree to indemnify and hold BoomDevs harmless from any legal claims, liabilities, damages, or costs arising from their participation in the affiliate program or violation of these terms.
BoomDevs is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the affiliate program, including lost profits or business interruption.
